Oxfordshire based Raceparts ltd have announced that their huge range of racing and race car components has been bolstered by the addition of a purpose built high-spec hose assembly manufacturing facility.

The installation of a fully approved Goodridge Platinum G-Tech Centre is an accompaniment to Raceparts’ existing position as the premier Goodridge agent into the professional Motorsport industry in the UK. The equipment installed will allow Raceparts technicians to produce fully crimped & pressure tested PTFE-lined smoothbore and convoluted hoses with either stainless steel or aramid fibre braiding with a variety of fitting types and materials from -03 for brake & clutch applications, right through to -16 for oil & water installations.

Goodridge are fully supportive of the initiative, group Chief Executive Jon Hourihan said “We are very excited about the G-Tech program, it has been very successful in the USA and we are sure it will be in Europe as well. Raceparts’ industry experience and central location will allow them to supply high-quality Goodridge factory-spec hose assemblies direct to race car builders and teams with very short lead times”.

The installation and operation of the facility at Raceparts Wallingford-based headquarters will be overseen by James Wills, former Motorsport Sales Manager at Goodridge, who has more than 15 years’ experience of plumbing competition car & motorcycles at all levels from club racing through to Moto GP and Formula 1.
